Full-body splash protection for use by both emergency back-up teams and in industry, where a gastight suit is not required yet still good protection is needed.

DESIGN

A non-encapsulating type splash suit with hood and a face seal for use with full-face filter mask or an SCBA worn outside the suit.

GARMENT MATERIAL

The Trellchem® Splash material is made of a strong PVC coated fabric which provides a soft and durable material with good resistance to a wide range of industrial chemicals, specially acids and alkalis. The material is available in different weights, colours, single or double coated.

FACE SEAL

The suit is fitted with a rubber face seal which is anatomically designed for optimum safety and comfort.

ZIPPER

Strong and durable watertight PVC zipper placed horisontally on the on the back, across the shoulders, for easy donning. The zipper is protected by a single splash guard (flap).

GLOVES

Butyl rubber gloves attached with the Trellchem® Bayonet glove ring system, which offers quick and simple glove exchange. Optional gloves:

Chloroprene rubber gloves (a thin glove with flock liner)
Viton®/Butyl rubber gloves (excellent chemical resistance)

FOOTWEAR

Different options are available:

Open double legs i.e. inner leg with elastics and foot strap (standard)
Attached PVC safety boots
Sewn-in socks

Boots are fixed with an ergonomically designed ring attachment, for simplified boot exchange.

REINFORCEMENTS

As standard the suit has welded-on reinforcements on elbows and knees.
